Executive Committee

The Executive Committee includes the President or Vice-president, two members of FRIDE and the GFNA respectively, the Secretary General and at least five full members, designated by the General Assembly for a period of two years.

The Executive Committee meets at least twice a year and, in addition to functions and objectives assigned to it by the General Assembly, it will be in charge of approving report proposals, as well as new appointments to be submitted to the General Assembly.The experts in democratic transitions who participated in the Conference on Democratic Transition and Consolidation (CDTC) held in Madrid in October 2001, as well as these or who subsequently have joined task forces or advisory groups of the Club of Madrid will be considered Fellows of the Club of Madrid.
